i found this great article in the Business Insider about linguistics and how it divides america.... complete with maps and keys.
i grew up in chicago, but while living in tennessee for 4+ years prior to moving to new york my "you guys" turned into "y'all."
i can't help it. it feels more natural right now, and there are some situations where "y'all" is the most appropriate ending to a sentence.
all this to say, it's a divide that definitely lives inside of 7 Dunham. you guys v y'all.
