Please join us Friday, September 19th at 7pm for Volume 2: Summer, a charity event with live music and art presented by the Late Bloomers. All proceeds from the evening will be going towards the New York City Urban Debate League.
Late Bloomers is a charity based multi-media art series founded by a consortium of community minded music and art industry professionals. Our goal is to unify the music and arts community in an effort to raise awareness for local art and artists while also providing a meaningful opportunity for the artistic community to give back to local causes. Not only will the events provide a means to raise money for a local charity but by pooling the collective talents, resources and promotional platforms of the artists involved, we hope to offer additional means of unique support and assistance. Our events will incorporate the performances of live bands, artists and DJs and the work of visual and performance artists with the hope of inspiring unique and creative collaborations.
Late Bloomers is comprised of the following people: Carrie Tolles (publicist), Claire Taylor (Product Manager at The Beggars Group), Florence Richard (Social Media) Julia Willinger (VP of A&R at Mom & Pop), Peter Berard (Head of Marketing Domino Records), Michael Plunkett (Metro Pictures), Jessica Dierauer (Music supervisor), Kristina Headrick (Social Media / Sachs Publicist), Tara Douglass (Founder Brooklyn Plant Studio) and Brigitte Green (VP of Licensing, The Beggars Group).
